How business loan repayments work

Repayments are driven by the loan amount, the rate, the term and any fees added to the loan. Shorter terms mean higher repayments but less interest overall.

Secured or unsecured?

A loan secured against an asset typically has a lower rate than an unsecured one. If you are buying a vehicle or equipment, asset finance is often cheaper than a general business loan. See business loan vs asset finance.

Fees

Establishment and other fees vary by lender. Enter any fee that will be added to the loan to see its effect on your repayment. The calculator does not include fees paid separately.
